New Point Masonry & Construction LLC was fromed by Alvaro Oyoque in April 2025. It was formed as a family oriented company and is built on the core values of integrity, pride, and quality craftsmanship. Our company is rooted in generations of knowledge and experience in masonry and construction. With a commitment to high standards, careful planning, and strong relationships, we strive to deliver quality work done right the first time.
We believe construction is about more than just building structures. It is about creating lasting value through safety, education, training, skill development, collaboration, discipline, and attention to detail. That mindset guides the way we operate and the way we deliver projects that stand the test of time and contribute to the community.
Legacy of Masonry
Construction is more than a profession in our family. It is part of our history. My father, unlces and grandfathers were skilled masons, and the values they carried in the trade helped shape the way I see this work today. Their example instilled a respect for craftsmanship, discipline, and pride in doing the job right. That legacy remains at the core of New Point Masonry & Construction.
From the Owner
I come from a family with deep roots in masonry. My father and grandfather were both skilled masons, and their example inspired me while instilling a deep pride in our family’s tradition of craftsmanship. The experience, discipline, and work ethic passed down through generations have shaped the way I approach this profession and deepened my respect for the trades as a whole.
Working in the field during summer vacations, manufacturing cast stone and tending brick exposed me early to the effort, discipline, and attention to detail the work demands. I continued building hands-on experience after high school, learning firsthand the value of doing the job right.
To build on that foundation, I studied Construction Management in the College of Technology at the University of Houston, where I developed a broader understanding of project controls, contract administration, engineering coordination, and the legal and operational aspects of construction. After graduation, I began working with commercial contractors and gained experience across the retail, light industrial, medical, multifamily, and institutional sectors.
Today, I bring together generational trade knowledge, field experience, and professional construction management perspective to lead New Point Masonry & Construction. I focus on creating long-term value not only for the clients who place their trust in us, but also for the skilled laborers we train and develop as we pass forward the knowledge, discipline, and traditions that shaped us.
